Note: there is a thermal pad included, as you can see on the picture. The case can get a bit warm after a few hours of normal use, but it’s OK, that’s how it works. The aluminum lid touches the Raspberry Pi CPU and transfers the heat outside the case. In fact, the top of the case is a heat sink in itself. There is no fan, no heat sinks that you stick on the CPU, and it’s doesn’t look like a traditional passive case.
